JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Analytics Specialist to join our growing team of data analytics experts and manage the processes for accurate data entry, data collection, data processing, visualization, and analysis.

The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing and visualizing solutions in data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company.

The Analytics Specialist will work closely with departments across product, sales, and marketing to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. Supports the Analytics and Reporting Department team in gathering and compiling data from various sources. The primary role of this position is to update and analyze Fountain Forward’s internal dashboards for both internal and external reporting needs.

The right person for the job will have an analytical mind, exceptional attention to detail, passion for precision and apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems faced by our company and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams and business units.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The main duties of an Analytics Specialist include:

- Preparing and sorting documents for data entry

- Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits

- Resolves discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.

- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.

- Assisting and testing with new reporting and data entry systems

- Purges files to eliminate duplication of data.

- Build, develop, and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics that support key business decisions.

- Design and build technical processes to address business issues.

- Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.

- Generate monthly reports to analyze client performance and provide relevant insights and recommendations.

REQUIRED SKILLS

The main skills that an Analytics Specialist should possess include:

- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills

- Advanced Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

- High proficiency G-Suite, especially using Google Sheets and Google Slides

- Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis

- Computer proficiency

- Ability to work to time constraints

Preferred skills that an Analytics Specialist should possess include:

- Must be proficient in English (written and verbal)

- Background in the automotive industry is a plus

- Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.

- Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.

- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.

- Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.

- Previous experience using CRM softwares

- High Proficiency using excel or google sheet formulas

- Ability to create and edit charts in google sheets
