As the organization's Data Engineer, you have multiple tasks to complete, and they are all due today. You have four hours to work on all of these tasks:

  1. Build a small Python or SQL script to clean and transform incoming data (Estimated time: 30 minutes–1 hour)

  2. Troubleshoot a failing ETL workflow in Airflow/Talend (You haven’t started yet and don’t know how long it will take)

  3. Update a dataset schema in the database and validate API responses still match the updated format (Estimated time: ~1 hour)

As the organization's Data Scientist, you have multiple tasks to complete, and they are all due today. You have four hours to work on all of these tasks:

  1. Clean and prepare a dataset for modeling using Python or SQL (Estimated time: 30–60 minutes)

  2. Analyze marketing data and generate insights or model outputs (Estimated time: ~2 hours)

  3. Review and validate model results, then prepare a brief summary for stakeholders (Estimated time: ~1 hour)
